Watermelon Agua Fresca with a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar
There are a lot of benefits to including a little apple cider vinegar into your diet. What there's not a lot of are easy drinks on-the-go with ACV that don't taste like cinnamon rolls, apple pie, or leave you with that lingering bitter taste, no matter how much you add. With just watermelon, ice, and 1-2 tablespoons of ACV you'll be ready to take on your day!
Ingredients:
1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, with The Mother*
12 cubes of cut watermelon (or half of a small or personal watermelon)
6-10 ice cubes (if your watermelon is frozen you can skip adding in ice)
*After a bit of Googling here's what I've got for you: When a ACV says that it has 'The Mother' it means it's an apple cider vinegar that still has the culture of beneficial bacteria that turns regular apple cider into vinegar in the first place. (info pulled from the Wellness Mama blog).
Method:
1. Add in your watermelon first, followed by your ice, then your preferred amount of ACV (for some reason I forgot to include the ice in the shot below, no idea).
2. Mix!
3. Serve and enjoy!
*My original completion photos were deleted somehow, so the below is a Plan B backup from a second batch I made with waaaay more watermelon. You should not have leftovers with this recipe, but if you do, the more the merrier!
